This 6 unit residential building faced a challenge – design a 3 story building where the zoning restricts heights to 25 feet and not have the building appear to have a flat roof.

Creating a combination of shed and gable roofs at the upper level perimeter provides the building with traditional styling and the appearance of a sloped roof, disguising the flat roof while providing upper level units of over 2000 square feet; each with a spacious layout with high levels of trim, details, and Puget Sound views.
